The Wonderful World of Whipstache

Oft times we neglect the things that are most important to our well-being. I know with some certainty that this portion of my journey is going to carry significance in the overall story of me; I would be remiss to not record it. And, because I am not a huge proponent of paper, I have found myself here. At wordpress. With a blog.
I never really thought that I would have a blog, or at least not one that would interest people. Maybe that was what has deterred me thus far from beginning one, this idea that it had to draw in readers. I suppose there is still some small part of me that craves the approval of strangers. Anyway, this blog is not necessarily for you, the reader. It is to an extent, but collecting a bevy of readers is not this blog’s primary purpose. This space is designed to allow me an opportunity to chronicle my journey from Dallas to Philly to Princeton to new thoughts and words and life.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. But, if you don’t, I’ll be ok.

I keep a blog for the sole purpose of “scrapbooking” my kids’ lives. A number of people read it, but that’s not why I do it. I’ll add your blog to my list of blogs I read since I’m sure you’ll share some entertaining things at some point. Right?
I had heard you were going to Princeton. Did you know we’re at Notre Dame now? Go Irish……..
